SPIRITUALISM OPENING STATEMENT
Spiritualism it is not a religion, it is a philosophy, a philosophy about life, based upon your personal experiences. So to understand spiritualism you will have to dig deep inside you and find the God inside you, find what you understand God to be and how God expects you to live your life.
Really what you have to admit to yourself is that you believe in God. It does not matter what you call that God. You might understand God as Jesus, or as Moses, or as Mohammad, or as Buddha etc. etc. In reality religion has not changed since day one. The concept is the same; the way it is presented has changed. Do not think, not even for one moment that, let us, say the Hindus believe in a different God than the Christians. God is one and is the same for all people. All major organised religions of the world today believe in a loving God, a God who loves his people and expects people to love Him back. All major religions believe in life after death, in other words they believe that there is no end to life.
The ideas that will be presented to you in the following pages contain information that I have read in existing spiritual literature, and information that I was exposed to as a Christian or as a school boy. In other words my personal experiences, the way I understand spiritualism. These leaflets are meant to tickle your imagination, to create the desire to seek and read different books on the subject; so you can form your own opinions, your own beliefs on the subject.
Open your mind beyond the dogmas of the churches and understand the messages that are there. I am not criticising any church. I believe they have done a marvellous job in preserving the divine teachings throughout the centuries at the time when the majority of people were uneducated and ignorant.
I also want to apologise to all of you for mainly referring to Christianity in my leaflets. I am not very conversant in the other religions, but I feel that what I have to say applies equally to all religions and remember what matters it is not what I say but what your experiences are, what your beliefs are.
